Walls, they can either be a protective or restricted barrier;
They can work for us or against us,
They don’t have to be physical in fact, often times they aren’t visible to our human eyes but we know that they are there,
The effect they have on us makes us to become aware of their presence in us and around us,
They aren’t bad in themselves but it is what we make of them that matters.
War, it isn’t something we were designed for but it is something the enemy makes sure we engage in.
It doesn’t have to be on a battle field, the space behind the walls is good enough ground for it to take place.
War behind the walls, we often don’t prepare for it but the little tension and friction here and there that occurs behind the wall, leads to it.
War behind the walls; physical swords and spears aren’t often used in this war but the ones that proves to be shaper than any two-edged sword.
It is as small as a ship’s rudder and it can also be likened to a little fire that when kindled can destroy a great forest.
It is a kind of sword that when used to attack it’s victim has such great a potential to pierce into the soul of such an individual.
Oh that everyone behind the wall will create an atmosphere that wouldn’t be suitable for war!
Oh that our walls be for protection and not a restrictive barrier on our relationships!
Oh that our walls would be painted with the beauty of our love and care for one another and not with the blood of our kinsmen and brethren!
Oh that watchmen will be set upon our walls. Men that wouldn’t hold their peace until our walls become a HOME, Sweet HOME!!!
I dream of a WALL without WAR!
Ezer, the first eyes that saw you labelled you that.
Ezer, the helper was what He saw.
Ezer, the life giver was what He saw.
But what did you see, Ezer, what did you see?
Ezer, you were ordained to be the crown of everything “The Light” made.
You were formed with a lot of potentials within you.
Dear Ezer, you were given “Loves” heart that you may mirror Him to everyone that sees you.
But do you know what you have, Ezer, do you?
Ezer, the precious one.
Ezer, the one the Father sings over.
Ezer, the one the Husbandman prepared the garden of His presence for.
Ezer, I wonder if you know how much you are worth?
Really I wonder if you know all the Father has made available to you.
Ezer, Ezer, your desires are wide because the Father made you so.
But instead of you to look to Him to fulfil those desires, time and time again you allow these desires to take you away from Him.
Broken and maimed you became Ezer, broken and maimed you’ve become because you left your place of rest.
You walk around with a smile plastered on your face with the hope that you’ll be able to shine the light that The Light himself kept within you, but little did you know that, the light has become darkness because you strayed away from Him.
You seek someone to help and to love because you were designed for that but you’ve not realised that you are needy and you need an Helper.
Ezer, Ezer the one the Host of Heaven hummed and aahed as her frame was formed.
What has become of you?
Where are you?
You seek a place of rest outside the presence the Father has placed in you.
You ignore the voice of the seal Himself.
You ignore the voice of the one who loves you the most.
You go into hiding thinking you’ll be safe from people’s peering eyes forgetting the fact that it is only the eyes of One that matters.
The one who has engraved you in the palm of His hands.
The one whose glory can cloth your nakedness.
Ezer, how I wish you know that it is only One man’s approval that matters.
The one who is the mastermind behind the script you’re living.
How I wish you’ll come out of your hiding place.
How I wish you’ll seek healing and refuge in the shadow of His wings.
How I wish you’ll give Love a chance again.
How I wish you’ll allow the balm of Gilead.
How I wish you’ll open yourself to the Daylight.
Ezer-restored Ezer, Ezer-redeemed Ezer
Ezer the one we’ve not met.
Ezer a woman like me.
I’m a Believer and I’m also a woman
That I’m a believer doesn’t make the things that are natural to a woman strange to me.
The emotions, the mood swings, the cravings, the mostly dread red substance and all that comes with it.
You name it, I experience them all.
The only difference between me and any other woman is that I know who goes through all these with me.
Simply put, I’m not alone and I know it.
I have an anchor!
I may look like every other woman anatomically but I’m different from an ordinary woman.
The presence of my Husband in my life and the intimacy we share makes the difference.
He rebukes kings for my sake and sends the whole host of His army to war for me.
I am persuaded that not death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate me from the love of my Beloved.
My Beloved is mine and I am His!
He is the one who knows my frailty and still choose to do everyday of this life with me, and not just this life alone but He has promised me the one to come too.
Even before He got to know about my scorched places(you know those part of me that are too ugly to reveal to anyone), He decided to accept me; scar and all.
Who takes a vow of forever with one who is maimed and broken?
Only my beloved can do this!
I don’t have to fear or ask who will take care of me again because my Husband will.
Nor do I have to ask who will protect me because my Husband will, He is my covering.
You may even ask “what about love?”
I don’t have to bother about that either.
He has promised me love! Love!! And more love!!!
For His banner over me is love!
He shows me the kind of love he does, not because I deserve it but because of His mercy and grace.
And I have decided to give Him my life; scar and all.
He’ll make the best meal from my leftover.
He’ll make me a cornerstone that gives strength to pillars.
He’ll make all my little girl’s dream come true and everyone of them that are not His plan He will replace with better ones.
Dreams come true and my beloved is my dream come true!
Saviour! “Thou Son of David have mercy on me.”
Only those who know how wretched they are without You can call you this.
Only those who come to the feet of the cross can pass from death and darkness into life and light.
Master! Only few can call You this with boldness.
Only those who are willing to follow in your Path.
Your path is narrow and only few find it.
But the end of those that find it and walk blameless in it is LIFE and PEACE.
Abba, Father! Only those who know that they’ve been adopted by Your blood into the family of God can call you this.
Only those who know that you’re all they have and that you’ll give them all they need can say this.
Your presence dispel every of their fear.
Nothing can pluck those that are yours from the strength of your arms, for you keep them without sleeping or slumbering.
Beloved! Shepherd of my soul.
Only those that are satisfied with You alone can call you this.
They have come to experience joy in your presence, and the pleasure that is forever at your right hand.
They’ve chosen the needful that cannot be taken away from them.
Oh! That I may know Christ and the power of His resurrection.
May I be abundantly satisfied with the fullness of His house and drink of the river of the pleasure that He gives.
“For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light YAH( Rock of ages) I see light.”
For I do not have an High priest that cannot feel sympathy for my weaknesses.
He can relate to everything I go through even as human.
He can smell my wounds and bind them up.
He can redeem me from my past.
He can give a future without fears.
He stands beside the deserted and lonely.
He wraps His arms of love around the orphans.
He sets the solitary in families.
He is a refuge to the refugees.
He is home away from HOME.
He is the everlasting God.
He never grows tired neither is he weary.
He strengthens those who are weak and tired.
He gives courage to the faint in heart.
Sweet is the promise He made to those who believe in His Son:
“I’ll never leave you nor forsake you.”
“My Peace have I given to you not as the world gives.”
“I’ll not leave you comfortless, I’ll send the helper to you.”
“You’ll tread upon snakes and scorpions and nothing will harm you.”
“Freedom is what you have.”
Christ has set us free, His Spirit gives freedom from sin and the pressures of life.
Choose daily to remain in the freedom I AM gives.
Everything we need He is.
I may not be sure of a lot of things but I’m sure of your love.
when things fade away
Your love will still remain
when I sway
Your love makes me stay.
When it seems like everything is closing up on me
Your love becomes my shield.
When I’m choked by the issues of life
Your love provides the water of life.
When I’m going through my darkest days
Your love brightens my heart.
When I’m tired of treading the narrow path your love keeps me going; giving me clarity of mind.
When I’m tired of life
Your love helps me to look back that I may be able to move forward.
Your love is the best thing I’ve ever known
And I won’t dare trade it for the unknown
Loving on you is something I will forever do
For you first loved on me.
I’m grateful for your love JESUS
